Help! Problems during Bluetooth update!!!

I just did the blue tooth update. Everything went fine and I got a screen that states "Update is completed. Updated data and all functions other than audio will be enabled after reboot" and it has an "OK" button.

However, pressing the OK button on the screen does nothing. So, I powered the unit off and back on. It checks the disk and displays the same update complete window.

If I remove the update CD and restart the unit, it shows a window that says "checking disk, please wait" and then says "Update is not completed yet. Please reinsert update disc to restart."

Has anyone ran into this?

I just have the AVIC wired up in my office right now (putting CD's on it before installing it).

Could it be because I don't have the park brake/unit bypassed that it won't let me acknowledge the OK button to end the update?

Any help would be appreciated. I need this thing working!

I seem to remember that the "hit ok" took a little while to respond... to the point of I thought something might have been wrong. But it seems like you are waiting long enough for the ok to register. I don't believe that I have heard of this.

Did you download the CD and burn it or is it a pioneer official disk. If you have burned it, I have heard of problems at the end of the update.... take the update disk into a pc and copy every file from it to a directory on your hard drive... does it copy every file or does it fail on one (or more). If it fails on one/some, take the ISO image and extract the files (iso buster or some other iso extraction program) and then burn a cd with the files on it. And stick them back in.

If this is a pioneer official update, you can try downloading the iso off the internet and burning it in case the official one was bad. Never heard of that, but I guess it's possible.
