Hello to everyone on the forum. i have recently installed an avic d3 in my 2003 volvo s60. currently i have been running without the vehicle speed sense wire connected. just curious if anyone knows the location of the vss wire on my car. any help would be great.

You've got it. Audiovox is hit or miss and Directech had nothing.

Yeah, the only thing I don't like about audiovox is sometimes their descriptions leave a lot to be desired.

I use their info as a guidline in the direction I should look. Then test, and double test every connection.

Testing eh. Na don't ever do that, course that's why I now have bcms from a dozen different cars

I'm joking just incase anyone couldn't' figure that out.

I need the same (VSS wire location/color) info for a 2004 Volvo XC90, please...

Red/Black, positive polarity, behind radio

Gray or white, positive, fuse box

Which fuse box? There is one in the engine compartment, one in the driver side dash, and one in the back near the left tail light.

Not sure. I would try the drivers side first.

I was wrong on the VSS for the S60 and the XC90.

Audiovox has nothing and Directechs says at the wheel speed sensor.
