Hello,

I just installed the D3 in my IS-300 and it looks sweet. I see how to make still backgrounds and they are cool and all, but I was looking to create animated graphics (like the single-din Pioneer decks do) so I can have something moving on the screen. I also cannot find where to get a background image on the i-pod screen when the controlls are hidden. Just a black panel is boring.

Anyone know how to achieve these two goals?

Well....this must not be possible as I see over two hundred peeps have looked at this post and no replies. I don't see why the single-din decks can have animated graphics while the large screen players only can have still images??? This seems backwards to me.

you cannot create custom animated backgrounds for any of the newer AVICs. I own the N3 which is single din flipout and cannot use custom animated bacgrounds on it.

OK, has anyone tried to load a slide show program into the D3 so it can play a series of still images? I just thought of this this weekend and have not tried it yet. Anyone already try this to save me some frustration?

Load? I think your confusing the Avic-D3 with a Windows computer. Unless you can hack into Pioneers code and develop a slide show program, it'n not happenning.

You can burn a CDR or a DVDR with a slideshow video and put your own mp3s as background music. its on the tip of my tounge but i forgot what kind of software its called lol
