Does anyone know of a clean smooth double din installation kit for the D3 into a 2006 F-150. I got a cheap kit from Circuit City and it looks like hell and doent even fit tightly. Any advise would help. Thanks

What's the part number. I've used em plenty of times without a single issue. By the way in the future how about either creating a new thread or at least adding to a thread that actually has something to do with the problem you're having.

metra 95-5812 is the one you want

there are some cheap knockoffs out there. i did two f-150's for customers who got them from crutchfield and i had to use specers behind the mounting holes because the kit didnt sit flush with the dash

There's 2 different versions of that kit, why I don't know, but there is.

The free kit included with my D3 from Crutchfield worked great in my '06 F-150 and looks smooth.
