hi there....im a newbie here coz i just got my D3 installed yesterday. my question is this:

during startup of the unit, the screen comes up as these grey and black straight lines and the clock will appear on upper left hand side of the screen. are these lines normal or is there a way for me to change or alter this display. im trying to read the manual but could not find anything about this.

I thought the pink and purple polka dots was the normal background. Or was that the acid.....
