I'm awaiting my D3, but had a quick question. Can the map DVD's that come with the unit, be copied? I'm worried that scratches down the road may make it unusable, and want to ensure I have a backup copy.

Ok, fair enough, you will need a DL burner and of course some sort of burning app. Open the app and use the disk copy feature. Thats it, the disk are not copy protected so no need to decode them with some other app before burning.

Use CloneDVD best copy program available IMO. www.slysoft.com also check out anydvd enjoy.
