I have an Avic-N1. Im still using the original MT40 disks.

I registered my S/N with pioneer.

I thought they are suppose to send you the lastest maps disks for free?

One person at pioneer said yes...and another said no.

Anyone? How did you guys get ur newer disks?

No, you buy the updates. Or some people steal them off the internet and burn them

This is untrue. When I bought the Avic-N3 and when I read through some of the included documentation. It states that if you register it after purchase you will recive the next update disk. The rest you will have to pay for. Never the less, even if they do give you trouble, call and complain, they will cave. Tomorrow I will be calling and doing the same. Come to think of it, I never recived my rebate...

I just called Pioneer. There is a distinction between upgrade and update.

Update DVD's are free (i.e. going from CVDV-60M v1.0 to 1.2)

Upgrade DVD's you pay for (i.e. you'll pay $250 for CNDV-70MTP)

There is no v1.0 or 1.2 of the 60m discs.I guess Pioneer got smart and doesnt do updates for these anymore. Just rolls the updates into upgrade discs.

Yeah, thats wheat they said... theoretically if 1.2 existed theyd update it for free... The guy told me 1.0 was bug free. I told him he must never had used Sirius because it sucks. ;)

Has any1 got a copy of the CNDV-70MTP sofware? I searched through the torrent sites I know, and havent found it.

I'm looking for the same thing. I'm suorized that nobody has posted a torrent of the disks yet.

There are a couple of them on ebay if you get desperate. Has anyone actually completed a dowload of the discs and they have worked?

And how much you want to bet the ebay discs are fakes

I am seeding the 60MP East and West disks but I can't find the 70MP disks. Would love if someone with the disks can start seeding it.
