I understand that there are methods to bypass the "in motion lock" standard in the newer factory installed navigation units.

I just purchased a 2007 Lincoln Navigator and find it frustrating to find an exit on the freeway in order to be able to use some of the navigation features.

Any gurus out there that can assist?

Yup anyone here? I have 2007 Ford F150 with an Avic-xd unit in it. Sure would be nice to get a bypass as well as figure out how to get a "birds-eye" view on the map.
