I have a 2006 GMC Envoy, and I'm interested in putting in a Z2, after reading many of the posts on here, I'm a little skeptical whether or not the product is worth buying. A lot of people are posting things on here like the device totally blows...does it? Or are people just over reacting? Does it really suck? Or is it just as well as factory nav? Maybe better? Just want some thoughts on the Z2

its definitely better than factory nav. people hate it cause they cant bypass it

Can you bypass a factory Nav? I cant remember, I know not for the DVD viewing but for nav functions while driving....

Depends. You need to google it for the specific nav unit. Many of the factory bypasses are for service use, and need to be entered via button sequences each time. PITA, but it works.
