My D1 wont allow navigation input. So after my bypass didnt work i decided to hook it up regular way. And sure enough it still doesnt work. I think i have a faulty unit. Anyone else hear of this? Know of software fixes? Etc.

be more specific. is this issue whiel driving? or stopped with the e-brake on?

always, does not matter if ebrake is engaged or not, I know while driving it should grey out, but then doing the up down up parking break method should engage everything, however it then goes from only go home being available to go home prev destination and i think saved destination being available. I cant do a POI or address search ever.

yup....it works about 15-20 percent of the time

Could also be a faulty connection to the parking brake wire, or a faulty parking brake switch. If you're using that stupid crimp on connector the wire comes with, don't try actually splicing into the parking brake wire.

What discs are you using? I know I had the same issue with the version 1.2 discs.

was this ever resolved? I have the same issue after a 60MP disk update
