I was told that the LG has problems looking for the Pioneer, that the Pioneer has to look for the LG, but since it is older gen it cannot seek the phone. I hold func 1 button to get C OPEN and the phone will see it and pair to it with the 0000 code but when it says do you want to connect to the unit now, all it does is connecting... forever! please help, any help! I don't want to have to pull this unit out and lose the sale. Thnaks in advance for anything!

try using code 1111 or 1234. which avic does he have? the pioneer bluetooth works best with all the "D" series and the "Z" series better than the AVIC. my sidekick doesn't pair up all the time either to my n3, sometimes i guess things weren't meant to be. sorry about the sale!
