Factory XM antenna with after market unit

I just got my 2008 F350 Crewcab, It came with Factory XM and factory DVD/NAV.

I also just picked up AVIC-Z2, can I use the factory XM antenna with the pioneer XM & Traffic unit??

what about the Nav antenna from Ford, or do I have use AVIC-Z2 antenna for NAV

I used the factory sat antenna when I replaced the stock radio in my '06 F150 with a Z1 and NavTraffic unit. I had to remove the plastic piece from the end of the antenna line (white piece, separates off) but it fit into the XM module just fine.

Not sure about the GPS antenna. Compare the ends and give it a shot.

OK, will try the install on Thursday, Ill let you know if all goes well

If anyone out there still know if AVIC-Z2 will work with factory Ford NAV antenna please let me know
