Ive had my D1 for about 2 years which it has worked flawlessly. About 4 months ago a body shop mangled my antenna so I had to replace it with a new one, which has also worked fine since then.

Just today for some reason I noticed the NAV drifting off course and went to connection status to see no satellites connected, but an "OK" status. Ive tried relocating the antenna all over the place with no luck. Ive also tried a few resets, also with no luck.

Is this just a bad antenna already?

probably a kink or internal break in the antenna wire.

Well while driving the sattelite link now works occasionally. It will track properly then lose all signal and go off course, but with the antenna status remaining "OK". It seems totally random at this point.

OK just means that the deck sees something plugged into the antenna hole. Doesn't mean that its working properly
