Does anyone know how much current the z2 will draw on startup? I am having the screen freeze problem and I am wondering if it is due to the factory wiring being used...

It seems to only freeze when I hear the fan, thus its likely that the power to spin the fan is being taken from the processor???

I don't know exactly what the instant surge current is, I'm sure it' pretty high, depending on the time slice I'll bet it approaches infinity.

But averaged over the first second or so, it's probably no more then 3 amps. Generally running around 2 amps or so.

I would really like to find a cure for this blank screen...Mine has been blank all morning even after doing a front button reset....after parking in a garage overnight..
