How legit are the online warrantees that they offer such as the mytaxfree.com 3year for $179.00. I want to buy the Z1 online cuz its much cheaper, but i want to protect it with some sort of warranty cuz its expensive (in case it stops working)... just wondering how u guys went about this if u thought about it at all...

That last one that I bought into was pure crap. You pull the deck or pay for it to be pulled...send it to the warranty company...they send it to the ACTUAL repair center. The ACTUAL repair center sends the radio to you and you pay the bill then submit the bill to the Warranty company and then the real fight starts. You have to fight for every little nickle spent. They don't pay for what they don't think was wrong. The item they really don't like paying for is a screen.

My uncle owns one of the largest repair facilities in the South and he refuses to deal with any of these types of warranty companies because of their agenda. From what he said there are only two locations in the US that are capable of actually working on the Z1 units.
