I have read about bypass I connected all the wires (brake and mute) to ground wire and grounded it i belive that my mute wire is in correct place but my unit said that it detected that the brake wire was installed wrong and i am unable to use nav when driving. when in diagnostic mode at stop displays brake on but in motion it it states that is off .e? I read that newer units can't be bypassed is that tru

All D3's can be bypassed. You have bad ground or didn't reset the unit. Refer to one of the other 100 posts about this.
