Microphone placement for AVIC-Z1 installation

I just bought a new (well, refurbished) AVIC-Z1 and I am going to have it installed soon. Any suggestions where the microphone should be installed so that it is unobstrusive yet effective? I have a BMW 328i (MY 2000).

I just installed mine and have the microphone on my visor. I conceiled the wire under the A-pillar molding. You can only see the wire for about 2 inches between the pillar and the visor, but who cares. Works fine from this position.
