Has anyone in the Toronto area upgraded their discs from the original 1.0 or 1.2 versions to the CDNV-60MT discs ? If so, have you noticed any improvement in Toronto mapping or are the rumours of "no significant updates" for Ontario true ?

I downloaded the -60 but am hesitating on installing them just in case they cause problems. I don't know if I can go back to the "old" discs once I upgrade.

I upgraded mine, but can't say for sure if it was worth it or not.

I like to have the latest stuff and the hardware upgrades made it worthwhile to me. :D

If you can want I can make you a copy of mine as mine is a good disc.

silvergs, could you tell me what is your serial number of the disc.

just put it into a pc and the disc folder should be called cpj11xx-1-A

i spoke with pioneer and they told me not much difference between 2006 and 2005 disc, other than alberta

you would see only upgrade in point of interest like restaurant and stuff

I went from v1.0 to v1.2 then finally to the 60-series CD set ... and aside from just points of interest, there are additional firmware updates. For example, instead of just saying "stay left, onto I-90" it will now say "EAST" or "WEST" after that ... giving you even more data!

Its not worth spending the cash new IMO .. but worth an ebay purchase!

oh man im from sauga right now and in need of the discs!... ebay is taking its sweet time sending me the discs.. can any of you guys make me a "backup" for my N2? im in sooooooo need of a update of the firmware, i'll pay you for your time :D

My Avic N-2 is bypassed, if I upgrade to the CNDV-60M disks will
I loose some of my bypassed features ?

Can the CNDV-60 upgrade be undone on the N-2 so I can revert
back to my 50 series disks.
