So i installed the d3 and now the sound quality is not so good at high volume. Is this because the stock speakers cant handle the increased power? I tried to eliminate all bass going to those speakers but that didnt help much. Should i just buy new speakers?

A little more info on the make and model vehicle you have would be helpful. Have you adjusted any of the eq curves?

Also, if 'Loud' is on, it can distort the sound pretty easily

It is a 2004+ f150 supercrew lariat with audiophile speakers. I have adjusted the eq and this made it better, but it is still bad.
