PLEASE HELP!
I'm having trouble finding somone who can bypass the features so that I can use the navigation and DVD player while driving. Does anyone know how I can bypass all these features? PLEASE HELP! There is no by-pass for the Z2 yet. The rumor is that post June 07 units will have the same by-pass as the post June 06 Z1's. A quick search will provide threads w/ this info.
BTW. What build date is your Z2?

maybe you should have done a little research before dropping 2k on a radio
so we know that its not just a rumor T however if we update the erley z2 will it see the bypass.....I have some pissed off customers down here that want to use navi while in motion

That seems kinda sucky, since the people who currently HAVE the radio are the ones bitching the loudest, no?
This sucks, my box doesn't have the yellow dot and I just purchased the AVIC Z2 yesterday..

Should have the date on the sticker where the serial is at MFD xxxx
I have the Z2 and the nice guys at Circuit City set it up so I can use the navi while driving (I think they did not attach the parking brake ground). Still can't watch video, but I don't want to - as I have said elsewhere, I have two small children and I'm distracted enough while driving as it is!
If you use the voice commands, you can enter destinations and waypoints and all that while driving. I did that the other day and it worked out well.
alloutgraphx, check out bypassing thread under the Hacks/Mods section of this forum. There's a lot of talk about bypass there right now... you should check it every now and then... people give a lot of good ideas there.
