its the polarity measure. nothing you need to worry about

would a 94 impala be the same??

my notes say its a green/white at the radio harness

thats true on the 95-96 impala but not the 94.the 95and96 had the speed volume control in the radio harness. the 94 never had that feature. so.... still waiting for someone to come up with the correct answer..not in the form of a question.
