Has anyone compared the analog output vs the digital output?

Trying to decide if I want to pay the extra dollars to get the pioneer digital processor and controller (understand the Z1 does not control the unit).

Have a 2007 Denali, expect to have 2 fronts 2 mid (second row) and 2 rear speaks. Will be watching movies, playing videos, Sirius, MP3, etc..

If you chose the digital path, which DD/AC-3 processor did you use?

Hi MJ99,

I was searching for posts regarding a 2007 Denali and saw your two posts. Very little response but I'd like to know if you were succesful with the install with the Z1 and accesories. I've been commnicationg with another user of this forum that had good success with a Denali and wanted to see if you did well also? Questions that are coming up for me is that with a newer vehicle that is controlled by can-bus communications, integration is a lot harder. There's a good harness available that seems to tackle most of the problems from PAC, the OS3 but a concern I'm hearing about is that the rear movie screen might not work since it is supposedly turned on by a can-bus signal from the vehicle as oppoed to a discreet 12VDC high or low. Did it all work well for you?

Thanks,

If you are going to use the DEQ-P8000 [url=http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069876_93768381,00.html">http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v ... 81,00.html , then you are also going to need the AXM-P8000 to control it, also.

It all still ends up being analog in the end.
