for those of you having trouble mounting your units. we just got these in at our shop. they look like they could solve a lto of problems. comes with a cage with screw in brackets like a n series but in double din. also comes with a nice trim ring that actually works

I believe that cage is packaged with the AVIC-D1/2 and maybe the D-3.

Nope, different cage that has only been out a year or so. Works great with the 6800DVD, D3, Z1/2, ect.

Yea that cage is bad ass. Makes putting the D3 on display easy as pie.
