XM channel logos without the DVD in?

I just got my AVIC-D3 installed, & love it. I really like how it displays the different XM channel logos on the screen.

Do you have to have the Nav-DVD in to have these logo's displayed? I'd really like to have these logos kept in memory or something so they are always shown when listening to XM. As soon as I ejected the Nav-DVD, the channel logos were gone. That sucks! Can anyone help?

Thanks

Can't be done. The logos are only stored on the discs.

Thanks Paisan. Too bad the logos weren't imbedded in the XM signal. That's be the best scenario. Maybe someday.

hopefully someday. it IS possible. I also own a Pioneer Inno XM walkman-type radio, and the logos are updated over-the-air through the satellite signal on it. Like when they had the St Patricks Day special channel, or the Earth Day channels, or when XM202 switched from "High Voltage" to "the ViRuS", new logos appeared on the Inno. I hope Pioneer would one day incorporate this into their mobile headunits as well.
