So I noticed that my daughter cannot watch a movie while we listen to music up front, so here is my question, can I just use a "Y" splitter on the video feed to split it to the rear monitor? that way I can have it up front when I want it to, or just on the rear?

I think I figured it out, I till just not use the output from the D2, I will just split the input, and have one go to the D2, and the other go to the rear monitor.

hello that is what i did and don't forget to ground the green wire n purple with for the back up cam.it works and i can turn it on and off but use the red n white rca for the av input.

yup, works perfectly!!!
