when I power down my N1 the monitor doesn't close all the way.. it starts tilting to go down.. and then stops.

I orginally thought it was the mechanisim. but I can manually move the monitor up and down (with the buttons)..

and if I disconnect power from the unit.. it closes all the way.... what gives???

Did you get the free flex cable repair done yet by Pioneer?

no. didn't know there was one.. I will check into it now...

btw I am doing some searching on the on this forum.. and it looks like this might be the fix

Call pioneer, get the closest service center address. Ship it to them via ups for like $12. And get it back three days later fixed.
