D3 iPod Problems

Hey guys, a couple quick questions.

1. Occasionally when I connect the iPod, I get this Error-11 issue. Before, I would just reconnect it and it went away, but most recently, it took me 2 reconnections before it went away. I never get this if the iPod is already connected before I turn on the car.

2. Is there ANY way to have the text scroll? It's really annoying to not be able to see the full song, playlist, or whatever.

Thanks

1. Make sure the D3 is powered off before the iPod is connected.

2. No!!!! :(

Yea..I get the error when I start the car, then plug in the iPod for the first time, so the D3 is powered on. Is that the problem? Pretty strange issue. But reconnecting the iPod while the D3 is still on seems to fix it. I'm just hoping it's not some problem that will get worse over time or something..

I'd definitely connect the iPod before starting your car. Mine always seems to work better if it finds it on the boot up first. Adding it later could be confusing to the system, depending on where you left off prior.

That's just my two cents worth.
