can someone tell me where everyone is getting the new z1 update disk. i called pioneer and they said you have to go through a dealer install. any help would be appreciated, thanx.

I called that number this morning and they said that they are sold out and there is currently a waiting list to put a order in.. Sold out? What did they make like 3 or 4 copies only?

No they are having a problem with some of the disk reading and they are having them make new ones. This came from their support direct.

My local dealer had two. And funny you mention the disk reading problem, as they used a CD player disk cleaner thingy in it first

Yea I had to hit retry over 200 times to get it to work... finally after 7 hours it worked...
