Wire harness question

I'm wiring my avic-z1 have a metra 70-7903 wire harness. I'm not sure what would be better? If I connect the ground to the black ground on the wire harness or screw it into the car's chasis like the manual suggests. Would it make any difference at all.

Also I'm not sure if the blue/white "Power antenna" wire should connect to the Avic-z1's Solid Blue "Auto Antenna" Wire

Sorry for my silly questions but it's my first nav install and I'd rather be safe then sorry.

Thanks in advance

I just hooked mine to the black wire on the harness and it worked just fine.

Does your car have a power antenna (or even a couple metal lines in the windshield, those are usually powered as well)? If so I believe that you can hook those wires together. If you just have a regular old passive antenna it doesn't matter. They probably put that wire on the metra harness cause it connects to all sorts of different cars. And if one has a power antenna, then they add it. Check where it's plugging into the car's connector and see if there is a wire that it will connect to, if so, you should probably hook it up, if not, don't bother.
