I have a d3 installed in my 05 silverado w/ bluetooth ,Ipod ,backup camera,everything was working just fine then all of a sudden my chime started making a screeching noise insted of a bell tone any idea why? thanks Joe

doesnt GM tie that chime noise with the factory radio? I dont know... maybe I am speaking out of my ass.

They do, odds are it's an issue with the interface that's generating the chime.

Yea it has to be the aftermarket interface. The speaker in it has probably gone out. I think most of the interfaces come with some type of warranty so you can probably have the manufactuer send you out a new one...hopefully
