D3 Power Pinouts needed to correct Circuit City Install

I just had an AVIC-D3 installed in my 07 F150 by Circuit City (big mistake). I picked the truck up on my way out of town and at first glance everything appeared fine. My glee soon dissipated when I attempted to enter a route on the nav system. I found a majority of the nav functions and radio preset functions were grayed out. When I arrived at my hotel for the evening I opened up the dash and found they had used two aftermarket connectors. One plugs into my OEM harness and the other plugs directly into D3 power. After a number of hours of research I discovered that the Parking Brake and VSS lead are not supported on the connector that plugs into the D3 so they were never hooked up. I’ve decided the cleanest way to correct this is to continue use of the aftermarket connectors and do a bit of repining to get access to the required leads. My problem is I do not have the power harness that came with the D3 (it’s 500 miles away) and cannot get Pioneer to tell me what the pinout is (so much for service).

Would anyone happen to have the pinouts for the D3 power cable connector? Another week on the road with a partially functional until could drive me MAD.

Thanks

I would go back and just use the Pioneer harness (if you can find one, or stand it that long). Everything is already in the right spot and you don't really have a chance of messing anything up.

Circuit City has those harnesses because it makes it easier for them to install, no real wiring and it saves time, just two harnesses that plug into each other. Its not a bad idea for a regular CD deck or whatever, but for something like the D3 its no good.

If I use the Pioneer harness then I will need to splice all the connections in. Repining would eliminate the splice. I already need to correct the twist/tape that Circuit City did for the amp and speakers with solder and heatshrink. I was hoping I could dig up the pinnouts since I have quiet time in the evenings to do a neat job. If I wait until I return home then I will have to work the "to do" list my wife is making and updating on an hourly basis.

Yea everything is pinned right. Your just missing 3 wires out of the harness. Not a whole lot you can do until you get the right harness. Sorry

Go back to CC and tell them you want Pioneer wiring... done right. I had to do the same on my wifes car... When I told them they said ok.. with no problem...

Yes sir - it's those three pin assignments that I'm looking for. I've got another after market connector and have alreay pulled 3 pins/leads from it. I just need to know the missing pin assignments so I can insert and connect.

As far as going back to Circuit City - I will not let them touch this again. Besides messing up the D3 connections the install of the speakers and amp is really messed up. They spliced into the OEM connector by cutting, twisting the wires, and throwing tape over it. On my drive out of town I heard something pop under the seat. I pulled over and and found that the amp had broken loose under the seat. They used DRYWALL screws to secure it to the floor board. I've seen my 14yr old do better work.
