Hey everyone,

I'm a newbie here and was searching all over the forum for a little assitance with this issue. I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra AC which I just installed an Avic-Z1 into with a Kicker 350 watt amp to power the speakers. Issue I'm having is that I have sound from the AM/FM portion of the radio but don't seem to be getting any other sound. I loaded a CD into the drive and saw the timer going but didn't hear anything. I checked all of the connection and everything appears to be as it needs to be. Am I missing something?

Check your remote turn-on? you should be using the blue/white wire, not the blue wire. You can also go under "system settings" and change the ant power to always on.

Thanks! I'll double check that wire and let you know what I find.

So I went out this afternoon while washing the Tundra and first thing i tried was switching the antenna power to always on. CD portion now worked great!
