It depends on exactly when the lights will flash. The flash needs to happen exactly 5 - 7.5 seconds after it powers up. If it will do that, then no you don't. Of course, my circuit will work if you remote start or if you just start it regular with the key.

Do you have autoheadlights at night? Do you use them? If so, even if this works your unit won't bypass at night.
