i noticed that on the D3, the yellow RCA video output only works when you're playing a video. is there a way for it to display exactly what the main screen is displaying, i.e. GPS map?

On the D2 in the settings there is an option for rear display to do video or navi

this is the one and only thing i regret about the d3. the audio processor in it isnt the greatest but i was soooo disapointed when the maps wouldnt show on rear screens. every other avic can do it waaahhhh!
anyways its really because i doesnt have "dual zone" capabilities but for 1000 (i know) it still rocks balls!

yes it will do nav up front vid in back.
but us ballers will have to use a separate dvd player if we want video on the rear screens while listening to cd 
i was hopeing my backgrounds would at least show

Ballers that want video on the rear screen while listening to a CD buy a Z2 instead
