I just got an email from Pioneer about the avic z2 and I read something that has gotten my hopes up a bit:

When entertainment is your priority, you’ve got a world of it at your disposal. And it’s all controlled with the touch of a finger. Watch your DVDs and iPod® video on the 7-inch widescreen while you’re parked or listen to your iPod music library, mp3 CDs, and satellite radio, all with high quality sound output.

Anyone hear of a new ipod hook up that will show video on the z2? Or are they just referring to hookin up the ipod to the aux video on the z2? I hope it's a new interface cable in our futures

I believe the Ipod Video will only be supported on the Avic-D3

That's what I thought, but this entire email was about just the z2

its easy. Just get a cable for the ipod to connect it to a vga source and use it as an aux + bypass = problemo solvedo
