I have a new Z2 unit and am having a problem with the navagation routine. I can't get the Route guicance voice to speak. Does the unit have to be in Guidance Mode for the voice to work? The speaker is on and if I press the way point flag it does talk.

What am I missing please?

I just got a new Z2 installed yesterday, and the voice guidance comes on when you are in guidance mode. Enter a destination and touch OK on the Route Confirmation screen. Refer to page 33 in the manual. Hope this helps.

My guidance mode is grayed out. Were you parked with the e-brake on to get into this mode, and does it stay on when you drive?

Have you tried doing the two wire bypass?
