Is the bypass necessary on the N2 if I get upgraded navigation discs? I have the 60mp series discs and I put them in. It updated my ui a bit, but the maps look exactly the same as the old ones. Plus, I can't use the address search or POI search either. Thanks.

You have to wire your parking brake properly to use the POI and address search. If you want to do that while moving, you have to do the bypass
