I have an opportunity to buy an AVX-P7300DVD to mate up to my D3. (I built a center console for the D3, so I was looking for something to fill the single din hole in my dash that my old unit currently occupies.)

I was just wondering if anyone has used this..how do you like it? I mean its an older unit, so does it do okay with burned discs?

Also, do I need anything other than THIS to install it? just plug in the ip-bus for sound, and the RCAs for video?

It was tight about five years ago. Not touchscreen so you will have to do everything with the remote, that was the big drawback

I don't really mind using the remote, mainly because I listen to my iPod for music, and watching a DVD is so rare.

I just thought for 200 bucks, a working DVD player with a screen was a pretty good price.
