I installed my Avic D3 4 months ago and just began to use the navigation system. The only messed up about it is that everytime when the lady is about to speak i hear a pause in my music and than the music goes back on. I read the manual like 3 times and did everything correctly. I don't know what's going on? Could someone please help me.

Hit the DEST button

Goto the 3rd Tab (Settings)

and the Volume ... Look for Guidance Voice Mute

Did you have to reset it in the first place or was it working fine in the beginning and than you resetted it? I found the setting area with the Voice Guilding mute, which one should I pick? Normal, ATT, or Mute?

It depends on what you want. If you want your music to continue playing at its current volume while Piona speaks, then choose Normal. If you want the music to reduce in volume while Piona speaks, choose ATT. If you want it to be muted while she talks, select mute.

By default it is set up to mute the music.
