hi i just got my z1 put in a few weeks ago, and started on a 20 hr road trip and it worked fine the first day, buut on day two, in the middle of one video and half way through the second, the volume control quit working, the there is still enough volume to hear it (the music) but the volume isn't loud enough on dvd's and well i'd really like to be able to turn up and down the volume.

does anyone have any tips?

You didn't accidently attenuate (mute) it did you?

Maybe no one had any specific ideas about that problem. Have you tried calling Pioneer? Seems like a weird failure. I have no ideas or experiance with something like that.

yeah i called them, and those guys are fucking idiots, asked me if i muted it or not, and then asked if i tried turning up the volume.

i couldn't really talk to them elaborately being as i was watching two dvd's while driving

I have the same problem. Does anyone know how to solve.....thanks...
