If the price about the same which one would you buy?

As you can see D2 has larger screen, tilt function.

D3 doesn't but it is a newer model.

Also the msrp the D2 was higher than D3, so getting the D2 with the same price as D3 is a good deal?

D3 if you want to play movies, want bluetooth, and want ipod. There are numerous threads on here comparing the two in detail

D3 for the iPod support alone. Seriously, it's got a great iPod interface.
