I just wanted to ask one thing, ...

Im thinking about getting an ipod video and the controller cable for my D3 but i just wanted to know first, can i control to play all the videos ( the songs i know ) from the D3 or do i have to put them to play in the ipod.

Another thing, does the avic chargers the Ipod ?

Reason for this is i just wanted to put the ipod in the glove box, hidden, cuz i would put my videos and mp3s on it and once in a while i would updated, i just needed it to act as a hard drive for musics and videos, but i guess that if i have to control the pl;ay of the videos on the ipod it would not do what i wanted.

Yes, it charges the ipod. For playing videos, you have to hit 'play' on the ipod the first time. In other words, you can put all your music videos in a playlist, go to the ipod source, hit play on the ipod ONCE, and then you will be able to use track up/down on the D3 screen to go to different videos
