Is anybody having problems with their AM radio. Mine doesnt even come up. All i get is static on my d3.

Sounds like the antenna amp may not be getting powered up. It's yellow/green in the radio harness. If you used a wire harness make sure the blue wire in that matches up with that yellow/green wire. If you hooked the avics blue wire up to the blue wire in the harness and it matches up with the yellow/green wire, and you're still not getting am recpection. Then what you can do is try hooking the harness's blue wire up to the red wire. Some vehicles require more power to trip the antenna amp than some aftermarket radios can provide. The red wire will be able provide a lot more power than an avics blue wire could.
