Microphone

This is my first post to the forum - and it is a quick question. I recently had a Z2 installed by a great local audio shop. At first, the microphone was connected and the screen had the little button for voice recognition on most of the screens. I had to take it back to the shop to add the XM NAVTraffic and bluetooth module. Now the voice recognition button is not displayed and calls made through bluetooth can't hear me, but I can hear them. I am assuming that the microphone came loose or is not connected properly.

If the microphone connection came loose, would the voice recognition buttons on the screen no longer be shown? Or is there some setting I need to change now that the bluetooth module has been added?

I am scheduled to take the car back to the shop that installed it, but I would hate to waste their time if it is something stupid.

Sounds like he disconnected the mike and never hooked it back up. Yes, once the mike is unplugged the little voice icon disappears.

Great! Thank you for the quick reply. I just didn't want to have the installer take the dash apart if it was just a setting.
