D3 Remotes - worth it?

I just got my AVIC D3 and am pretty happy with it so far. I still need to bypass it since the installer wouldnt take money for it.

Anyways I have it my Toyota Avalon and the buttons are kinda far from my seat. I have to lean forward to reach the unit which isnt a big deal since I had to do the same for the factory radio.

My question is: Is the Pioneer wireless remote worth it? Does anyone have one and do they like it? From what I can see in the pictures the remote looks overly complicated and has small buttons

Idealy I would like to have a steering wheel remote but the car doesnt come with a wired remote. I think I saw a remote that clips on to the wheel. Anyone else use/know about this kind?

You can use several of Pioneer's remotes. They all will at least control VOLUME, TUNING/FF/RWD, and BAND. I used the steering wheel remote for the Z series and it work well. The remote for the D3 is very long and cumbersome to use just for basic functions. I actually have two remotes, one for basic functions and the other for the video features.
