You have the right one. Did you install it properly?

yea the functionality of it is horrible. You can't really search or do anything like the d3 can. Your best bet is to unplug it find the song, press play then plug it back in. You could be more clear as to not working as well!

Or do the blue wire mod. It'll still pass audio through to the avic, but you control the ipod through, well the ipod.

yes i believe it is installed...it reconizes that the ipod is there....but it will not allow me to play anything....no play feature on the screen...so i have no idea...
