I live in NY and I'm going to order the Z1 through 6Ave. Has anyone had them do the install and if so what did it cost and were you happy with the job done? Thanks.

i just got mine installed by the 6ave in eatontown...the guy who did it did an awesome job, plus i bought the ipod adapter elsewhere and he installed it for me for no charge.

It's being done *right now* (Monday July 3) - should be ready at 6 pm (this is the West Paterson, NJ location)

6th Ave Springfield NJ did my AVIC 90, 7300 DVD, and a whole bunch of other stuch about five years ago...they did a very good job including making a custom molded facia for the rear seat 333 switcher (the location wsan't so great kids ended up kicking the headphone plugs a lot), but to be fair, there weren't a lot of options...

Other than a small error with the wrong BT module being installed, (which they quickly addressed), everything went very smoothly. See Nick at the West Paterson NJ location if you're in this area and looking for an install. Knowledgable and a nice guy.
