My girlfriend took my car yesterday and when she returned the touch screen was inoperable. The unit works fine and all the hard buttons operate just not the touch screens. Is there an option that lets disable the the screen that i have forgotten about, or is this a problem? Is there a way to reset the unit. Any help or suggestions would greatly appreciated.

you can reset it with the pin hole right under the knob

Do you think will fix the problem or is the screen bad. I have been reading where this looks like a common problem. Will I lose all my preprogramed information if i reset it?

Is there a way to calibrate the touch screen? It seems to be off from when I first got the unit.

Well i reset it and it fixed it for a bit, now its intermitent. I'm thinking i may have a faulty screen. Did a search and read a few folks have had this problem and have had to send it back. Its still under warrenty so I guess I'll pack it up.
