Notice that AWESOME stock tape deck! Debating what to do with the radio, it sounds good and has the updated speakers and sub, but I don't know what I want to put in there in a single din radio... maybe just an ipod/aux adapter or something.

If you're going to do anything, ditch the stock radio. I've never had anything good come from trying to do aux/ipod adaptors to the stock radio. Ground noise, not working, etc etc etc.

Stock radio has a red glow. Any ideas what might be a good single din radio, similar look (red colored if possible) ipod and sat radio capable. I went to crutchfield and looked but there are 100's of single din radios, don't have any experience with any of them really.

kenwood has/had a line that you could dial in the color if i remember right. Its more of a deep orange though. Dont know how close it will get either.

This says you can make the buttons glow red.

There are a few people on the BMW boards who list radios, but most are old and not for sale anymore.

Hit up your local Best Butt most of them should have that radio on display. You're other option, would be a higher end sony deck.
