I connected the VSS to the Gray/Black at the harness for speed sense and since then the Z2 will not get past the Sensor Intializing. Have I done something wrong?

give it some time and see it it will initialize, or their may be more than one grey/black wire in the radio harnes.

There is only one gray/black in the harness. i gave it 650 miles to figure it out. thats approx 9 hours drive time at 70 mph. But keep in mind there is 100 miles easy of city so now you are close to 11-12 hrs just moving.
